About this resource
This initiative provides screenings and diagnostic services for breast and cervical cancer via a network of healthcare providers. It aims to lessen the cancer burden through early detection, risk assessment, education, and connecting individuals to necessary medical treatment.
Intake Procedure: Schedule an appointment by phone.
Travel/Location: Accessible via buses 43, 41, 30, 36A.
Fees: No charges apply.
Who can use this
- - Individuals aged 18-39 requiring breast or cervical cancer diagnostic services (as assessed by a clinician) - Individuals aged 40 and above needing breast or cervical cancer screening and/or diagnostic services - Must reside or plan to reside in Oregon - Household income must be at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) - Must be uninsured or have insufficient insurance coverage. Men of any age exhibiting breast cancer symptoms qualify for breast and genetic services. U.S. citizenship is not necessary for participation in the ScreenWise program.
