About this resource
This program provides support for utility bills, including electricity, natural gas, propane, and heating oil, through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Generally, households can receive assistance only once per program year, although there may be exceptions, particularly for NW Natural Gas support.
Intake Procedure: Check the website for availability of applications to download or obtain from a local office. Applications can be submitted at any time. Priority is given to households with seniors and disabilities during October and November. If facing disconnection, contact the Help Desk for assistance.
Travel/Location: The office is within walking distance from a bus stop, located behind Starbucks and Quiznos.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligibility requires an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, with a detailed income table accessible on the website.

- -Completed application form -ID for all adults living in the residence -Social Security numbers for all household members -Proof of gross monthly income -Current utility or water bill
