About this resource
This public health initiative aims to enhance health outcomes and promote healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices for women, infants, and children. The program offers nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not mandatory) -Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under the age of 5. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Families enrolled in OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. -Have a nutritional risk (to be evaluated during the appointment).
