Summer EBT is a program designed to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for each eligible child to help with grocery expenses. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after issuance. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Intake Procedure: Applications for 2026 benefits can be submitted at any time by filling out an application.
Travel/Location: The office is located one block east of Highway 101 between First and Second Streets, directly behind Starbucks.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Families may automatically qualify for Summer EBT if their child was approved through an application or if they attend a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and meet certain income criteria.
