About this resource
Summer EBT is a program designed to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive an annual payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to use for groceries. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after issuance. A helpline is available to answer general inquiries, confirm eligibility, check application status, and address EBT card concerns.
Intake Procedure: Applications for 2026 benefits can be submitted at any time.
Travel/Location: Located one block east of Highway 101, between First and Second Streets, directly behind Starbucks.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Families may automatically qualify for Summer EBT if their child is approved through an application or if the child attends a school that is part of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and meets specific income criteria.
