About this resource
This service provides in-home care for eligible older adults residing in their own homes. The range of services includes housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, case management is available to assist older adults in making informed and cost-effective decisions regarding their care needs. The number of service hours allocated per person varies based on assessed requirements and local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours each month. Situations where Oregon Project Independence may be beneficial include when an individual needs personal and home care support due to injury or illness, or when they require assistance during recovery at home after hospitalization. Intake Procedure: For more details, please call or check the website; note that some services might have a waitlist. Fees are determined on a sliding scale, calculated based on monthly household income minus monthly medical expenses.
