Abc House
Community Resource
About this resource
The initiative features a community outreach program that encompasses a range of training sessions. These programs cater to adult professionals and community members, concentrating on the prevention, identification, and response to issues related to child abuse and child sexual abuse. Additionally, it offers a girls circle for young women to connect and share experiences. Presentations are available for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, utilizing an evidence-based curriculum that addresses topics such as preventing, recognizing, and appropriately responding to bullying, cyberbullying, various forms of abuse, and the risks associated with digital abuse. The Girls Circle serves as a peer support group that integrates creative activities and guided discussions to foster resilience, self-efficacy, and self-esteem.
