About this resource
This initiative caters to children with needs in behavior, social services, and academic success. It also provides assistance to school districts in identifying effective strategies for addressing student behavior, enhancing instruction, and fulfilling social service requirements in several key areas: -Attendance Services: Offers interventions and resources for both staff and parents concerning school attendance and truancy issues. -Behavior Consultant Services: Delivers support to students, parents, school personnel, and community organizations to help those with behavioral or emotional difficulties. This includes assessments, observations, interviews, safety risk evaluations, and suggested interventions like counseling, skill development, and referrals to additional services. -Family Support Project: Supplies information and connections to community resources, youth programs, home-based parenting assistance, counseling, and more. -Youth Service Team (YST): These multidisciplinary teams offer coordinated services to students in Linn County, which encompasses referrals to counseling and community services, youth and family events, assistance with navigating social service programs, outreach, and crisis intervention, among other supports.
