About this resource
Offers monthly food assistance to aid individuals in purchasing food. Benefits are distributed via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, referred to as the Oregon Trail Card.
Intake Process: To apply, individuals must complete an interview with an ODHS eligibility worker. Applications can be made online, over the phone, in person, or via a paper form.
Costs: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is assessed individually. Individuals and families must: -Reside in Oregon -Have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated on a monthly basis before taxes -Be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.
Documents you may need
- No documents are required to submit an application, however, people may be asked to provide the following: -Identification -Proof of income -Social Security numbers for everyone in your household who wants benefits -Proof of immigration status for eligible non-citizens
