About this resource
The initiative provides courses focused on parenting and life skills aimed at young parents, helping them enhance their knowledge and abilities to establish healthy family environments. Community professionals, including Linn County Maternal Child Health Services nurses for childbirth classes and certified instructors from the Parenting Success Network for parenting courses, lead these sessions. Additionally, financial literacy coaching is offered by nationally certified coaches from Stand By Me. Each participating household receives a $20 incentive for every class session they complete, and transportation and childcare services are available.
