About this resource

WIC is a public health initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health habits for women, infants, and children. The program includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly benefits for additional nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Travel/Location: Our office is situated in downtown Lebanon at the intersection of Santiam Highway and Cox Rd., directly across from Oil Can Henry's.

Fees: There are no charges for participation.

Who can use this

  • To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary for WIC participation) -Be pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding, or have a child or infant under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Families enrolled in OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. -Have a nutritional risk, which will be evaluated during the appointment.

  • Proof of ID for parent/guardian and child, proof of address, and proof of income
