About this resource
This initiative provides support for electricity, gas, heating fuel, and water to households with low income. It also includes an educational program focused on energy and water efficiency, typically delivered through classroom presentations and interactive learning experiences. Participants can access resources and information aimed at enhancing their energy and water usage at home.
Intake Procedure: Call to schedule an intake appointment.
Travel/Location: Situated at the base of St. Alphonsus Medical Center, opposite Lion's Park, and adjacent to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce building's parking lot.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.
Who can use this
- To qualify for electric, gas, and heating assistance, household income must be at or below 60% of Oregon's median income, prioritizing seniors aged 60 and above and individuals with disabilities, followed by families with young children. Water assistance is available to EOCCO Medicaid members with full medical benefits, earning 30% or less than the area median income, who have a medical need.
