About this resource

This program offers modifications for home health and safety aimed at reducing home heating expenses. These modifications may involve sealing ducts, insulating ceilings and walls, replacing fans, and upgrading windows and doors, as well as addressing any additional issues identified during the home inspection.

Intake Procedure: Interested clients should call for details. An intake form must be completed to assess eligibility. The waiting list prioritizes clients aged 60 and above, those with confirmed disabilities, and families with children under 18.

Travel/Location: The office is situated at the base of St. Alphonsus Medical Center, directly across from Lion's Park and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce parking lot.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.

Who can use this

  • Household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

Documents you may need

  • -Identification for all adults age18 and older -Social Security cards for all household members -Current proof of income for the most recent 30 days; Social Security recipients MUST bring your social security benefit letter -Most recent energy bill with the applicant’s name -Declaration of Household Income form when applicable
