About this resource

This initiative provides in-home assistance to eligible seniors residing in their own homes. The services offered encompass housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, case management is available to aid seniors in making informed and cost-effective decisions regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual varies based on assessed needs and local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours each month. Situations where Oregon Project Independence may be beneficial include: - When someone needs personal and home care support due to illness or injury - When an individual is recovering at home after being hospitalized.
