About this resource
The College Assistance Migrant Program is a federally funded initiative aimed at aiding students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds in their initial year of college. The program provides various services, including financial assistance for college expenses (with CAMP scholarships and textbook allowances dependent on available funding), support for family involvement, mentoring, tutoring, academic and career guidance, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- Applicants must meet these criteria: -Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident -Be a full-time (12 credits) first-year student at TVCC -Have an agricultural background, which can be demonstrated by one of the following: -The applicant or guardian has worked a minimum of 75 days in the last 24 months in migrant or seasonal farm work (including crop, dairy, poultry, livestock production, tree cultivation or harvest, or fish farming) -Eligibility or participation in a Migrant Education Program (MEP) -Eligibility or participation in the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP)
