About this resource
The Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Program (SHIBA) employs certified volunteer counselors who educate and advocate for Oregonians enrolled in Medicare. These counselors can also share details about the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) program, which is a Medicaid initiative designed to assist those with Medicare in covering their medical expenses.
