About this resource
The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) serves as Oregon's Medicaid program, providing healthcare coverage to low-income residents who meet specific eligibility criteria. Members of Medicaid may have access to complimentary transportation for medical appointments or may receive reimbursement for personal travel.
Intake Procedure: To learn more and apply for the Oregon Health Plan, visit the official website, which also provides a list of in-person assistants (Navigators) to aid in the application process.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the program.
Who can use this
- Eligibility criteria differ: OHP is for individuals with a household income at or below 138% of the federal poverty level (FPL); those aged 19 and under with a family income at or below 305% FPL; and as of July 1, 2023, immigration and citizenship status no longer impacts eligibility for full OHP. OHP Plus Supplemental (Prenatal) is available for pregnant individuals aged 21 and older with a household income at or below 190% FPL, counting expected children as household members. OHP Bridge is for adults with incomes between 138%-200% FPL.
