About this resource
ODHS may offer replacement SNAP benefits for individuals who have lost food purchased with SNAP due to disasters such as storms, flooding, power outages, or fires.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can walk in, call, or email to request replacement benefits, which must be done within 10 calendar days following the food loss. In certain counties, a longer timeframe may be available based on the incident's severity. Once the request is approved, replacement benefits are distributed to current recipients via their existing EBT card.
Fees: There are no associated fees.

- Households receiving SNAP that have lost or had to dispose of food deemed unsafe due to disasters like storms, flooding, power outages, or fires can request replacement benefits.
