The Time with Friends program is designed for adults experiencing mild memory loss, promoting social interaction, new friendships, and community outings. It also includes exercise and music therapy. Among Friends serves as an adult day respite program, providing a safe and supportive atmosphere with engaging, positive, and light-hearted activities.
Intake Procedure: For more details, please call or visit the website. A home visit and the completion of a care plan are necessary before the initial visit.
Travel/Location: The facility is situated on Portland Road (Highway 99) at the intersection with Silverton Road, Highland Street, and Brooks Avenue in Northeast Salem.
Fees: Among Friends charges $60 per day for 5 hours of respite care, which includes lunch and a snack. Time with Friends costs $35 per day for 4 hours of programming, also including lunch. Medicaid (OHP) and private payments are accepted, with options for fee waivers and scholarships available.
