Oregon Opportunity Grants are a need-based financial aid program funded by the state, designed for college students. Eligible students can receive support for a maximum of four years while enrolled full-time, with awards adjusted for those attending half-time. However, students pursuing degrees in divinity or religious theology are excluded from eligibility.

  • - Must be an Oregon resident for at least 12 months before college and a US citizen or eligible non-citizen - For dependent students, a parent or guardian must reside in Oregon - Out-of-state students from Native American tribes with ties to Oregon may qualify as residents - Student loans should not be in default or have outstanding refunds on federal grants - Must be enrolled at least half-time in an Oregon-based post-secondary institution - Undocumented and DACA students may qualify if they meet specific criteria - Must be an undergraduate without a previous baccalaureate degree - Awards are prioritized based on the student aid index.
