About this resource
This grant is intended for the dependents of public safety officers who were killed or disabled while performing their duties. Applicants must not have obtained a baccalaureate degree or higher from any post-secondary institution. Grants are awarded annually and can be received for a maximum of four academic years (up to twelve quarters or eight semesters), or until the recipient earns a bachelor's degree, depending on which occurs first.

Who can use this
- - Must be a dependent (natural child, adopted child, or stepchild) of a public safety officer in Oregon who has died or become permanently disabled while on or off duty - Must be under 25 years of age at the time of application - Must have been an Oregon resident for at least 12 months - Must not have received a baccalaureate degree or higher from any post-secondary institution
