This program assists families in acquiring affordable car seats and provides guidance on proper installation.
Intake Procedure: Schedule an appointment via phone.
Fees: A co-pay of $30 in cash is required for each seat or $10 for each backless booster seat at the time of the appointment.
Who can use this
- -Families eligible for WIC, SNAP, or TANF may qualify for a car seat, with proof of benefits required. -A technician will assess the need for a new car seat during the check-up event. -Car seats are issued only to parents or legal guardians who must be present. -Each child is limited to one seat. -The child must be present unless they are unborn. -The vehicle used for transporting the child must be brought to the car seat check.
