About this resource
The Marion County Housing Authority (MCHA), in partnership with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), oversees the Section 8 Voucher Program along with multiple rental assistance initiatives. MCHA additionally owns and operates several affordable housing complexes designed for seniors, families, and agricultural workers. The services are focused on the rural regions of Marion County, which lie outside the Urban Growth Boundary of Salem. Unfortunately, assistance is not provided for residents of Salem/Keizer.
