About this resource
This initiative provides complimentary home visits carried out by public health nurses to foster physical, social, and emotional well-being. The services encompass education on pregnancy, parenting, nutrition, safety, child development, and guidance on navigating the healthcare system and understanding health issues. It also connects families with local resources like WIC, immunizations, healthcare, early intervention, therapies, insurance support, and DHS services (such as self-sufficiency and developmental disabilities), among others. Additionally, screenings and assessments are available for pregnant and postpartum women as well as children.
