About this resource
This program provides limited support for utility expenses such as electricity, gas, firewood, heating oil, and propane. Applications are handled based on the order they are submitted, including those from individuals with disconnected accounts, although exceptions are made for holders of a current Utility Medical Certificate. The number of applications accepted is restricted and depends on available funding.
Intake Procedure: Check the website to confirm if applications are currently being accepted, or contact them for further details. When open, applications are available monthly from the 1st to the 15th, and they will close once the capacity is filled, which can occur within 1 to 2 days of opening.
Travel/Location: Cherriots bus routes are located 2-4 blocks away.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
