About this resource

This facility provides a day shelter with drop-in services along with an overnight emergency shelter for youth. It offers assistance through meals, laundry, showers, personal items, and opportunities for community engagement. Donations of school supplies are welcomed. Key programs include the Runaway and Homeless Youth Program (RHY), which links youth and their families to essential resources, mediation, and counseling aimed at family reunification. The initiative seeks to facilitate safe exits from homelessness through collaborations with local law enforcement, street outreach, and partnerships with schools and community organizations. The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) consists of four components, including internships, financial literacy, workshops, and extended support, allowing youth to earn high school credit during the three-month cycles of the program. Taylor's House serves as a 10-bed emergency shelter providing study support, social activities, and job training, along with onsite treatment and counseling services, as well as meeting rooms for various appointments and recreational activities.
