About this resource
This initiative provides vocational rehabilitation, training in independent living skills, career exploration, and general counseling specifically for adults who are legally blind. It also extends independent living services to those with visual impairments, featuring orientation and mobility training, daily living techniques, Braille instruction, counseling, support groups, vocational training, job development, and transition services for visually impaired high school students. Additionally, there is a range of adaptive products available for individuals with visual challenges.
Intake Procedure: Services are available by appointment only; please call to arrange a meeting.
Fees: Please contact for details; payments are accepted in cash or checks only.
Who can use this
- Eligibility varies by service; includes legally blind adults or those over 55 who cannot drive or read with glasses, with independent living services specifically for those aged 55 and older.
