This program assists students by linking them to community resources and reducing interruptions in their education, including support for enrollment without documentation and transportation services.
Intake Procedure: To begin, visit the website and select the "McKinney-Vento District Liaison Contact List" to find the liaison designated for the child's school district.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Students who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including those who: -Are unaccompanied minors not in the custody of a parent or guardian -Do not have a stable, adequate nighttime residence -Reside in shelters, motels, or campgrounds due to lack of options -Live in vehicles, parks, abandoned structures, or public transit stations -Are staying with others due to housing loss or financial difficulties.
