About this resource
This program provides monthly food assistance to support individuals and families in purchasing food. Benefits are delivered via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, referred to as the Oregon Trail Card.
Application Process: To apply, individuals must complete an interview with an ODHS eligibility worker. Applications can be made online, over the phone, in person, or by submitting a paper application.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is assessed individually, requiring applicants to: -Reside in Oregon -Have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated on a monthly basis before taxes -Be US citizens or qualifying non-citizens.
Documents you may need
- No documents are required to submit an application, however, people may be asked to provide the following: -Identification -Proof of income -Social Security numbers for everyone in your household who wants benefits -Proof of immigration status for eligible non-citizens
