About this resource
The state agency oversees the issuance of hunting and fishing licenses. Children under the age of 12 do not need a license if they are accompanied by an adult who possesses a valid fishing license. Additionally, free fishing licenses are available for youth in foster care, who should get in touch with their certifier or caseworker.
