This program offers several types of parking placards and decals for individuals with either temporary or permanent disabilities. Holders of these permits must present a new certificate of disability whenever they renew their parking permit.

Who can use this

-Applicants must be residents of Oregon, unless applying for a Temporary Disability. -Individuals need to be certified by an authorized healthcare professional as having a permanent or temporary disability and must possess a valid Oregon driver license, state ID card, or parking identification card. This is applicable to those who, due to health and safety reasons as certified by their healthcare provider, cannot visit a DMV office to obtain an identification card. -Individuals may be eligible if they have disabilities such as severely limited mobility, significantly reduced or lost vision, or conditions that hinder walking more than 200 feet. This includes ailments like chronic heart conditions, emphysema, arthritis, rheumatism, ulcerative colitis, or similar bowel disorders.
