WIC is a public health initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes and promoting healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices for women, infants, and children. Who can use this

  • To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary for WIC participation) -Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income that is less than 185% of the federal poverty level (FPL). Families enrolled in OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk, which will be evaluated during the appointment.
