About this resource
The Independent Living Program (ILP) assists youth who are currently or have previously been in foster care to achieve self-sufficiency as adults. It provides a chance to acquire important skills needed for a smooth transition from state and Tribal custody to independent living within the community. The program offers services such as case management, funding for educational pursuits, and housing assistance.
Intake Procedure: - For youth still in foster care, reach out to their caseworker - For those no longer in foster care, contact the local Child Welfare Office and ask for "Voluntary Services"
Fees: No fees are required.
Who can use this
- Youth aged 16-20 who are current or former foster children.
