About this resource

The Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC) offers immediate, in-person crisis intervention. Their services include stabilization, mental health assessments, hospitalization, respite care, and referrals for ongoing case management, in addition to short-term emergency prescriptions. A Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) is always available to conduct face-to-face evaluations and provide crisis counseling. Services are administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Intake Procedure: Initial triage and referrals can be made over the phone, and individuals can walk in for services.

Fees: The center accepts OHP and most private insurances, ensuring that no one is denied service due to inability to pay.
