About this resource
Babies First! is a public health home visiting initiative in Oregon designed to enhance health outcomes for at-risk children by focusing on prevention and the early detection of issues. The visiting nurse offers health and developmental assessments, nutrition and health education, guidance on infant and child development, breastfeeding assistance, and connections to community resources tailored to the family's needs.

Fees: No charges.
Who can use this
- Families with children aged 0-5 who are at increased risk for health complications, which may include factors such as drug exposure, prematurity, teenage parenting, at-risk caregivers, domestic violence, or concerns raised by parents or providers.
