This initiative focuses on improving health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health habits for women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding assistance, monthly benefits for nutritious food supplements, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a requirement) -Be pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and guardians may apply for eligible children. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); those receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically eligible. -Demonstrate nutritional risk, evaluated during the appointment.
