About this resource
This public health initiative aims to enhance health outcomes and promote lifelong nutritional and health habits for women, infants, and children. The program includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding assistance, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to local community resources.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not mandatory), be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old (with fathers, foster parents, and guardians eligible to apply for qualifying children), have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and demonstrate nutritional risk assessed during the appointment.
