This program provides support for overdue rent payments, contingent on available funding and is not guaranteed. Assistance is not available for individuals with Section 8.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this assistance.

Who can use this

  • Eligible individuals and families must meet these criteria: -Reside in Multnomah County -Face significant risk of homelessness -Have an income at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI)

Documents you may need

  • -Identification for all adults over the age of 18 such as a driver's license, state ID card, Social Security card, passport, or birth certificate -Proof of income such as a pay stub or award letter for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), child support, or TANF. A personal statement may also be accepted on a case by case basis. -Copy of eviction notice or rental agreement
