About this resource
The Navigation Center is a temporary shelter with low barriers, designed to house up to 90 adults. It features areas for coffee and tea, books and games, a gated courtyard, showers, laundry facilities, and space for personal belongings during the day, along with providing meals on-site. The staff offers support focused on housing, employment, benefits, and health services.
Intake Procedure: -Visit the website to fill out a Shelter Access Pre-Screening Form, or you can walk in or call the Resource Center (650 NW Irving Street) to register for a shelter bed. -A member of the Transition Projects Shelter Access Team will respond to all submissions to collect further details. -Submitting a form does not ensure a bed will be available. -Only reservations are accepted; there is no intake at the shelter's physical location, and without a reservation, individuals will be turned away. -Once a reservation is made, guests can utilize the space until they no longer require it.
Travel/Location: Located below the Broadway Bridge on the west side, directly across from the Albers Mill Building.
Fees: There are no fees.
