About this resource
Early Head Start is a home visiting initiative designed to encourage healthy birth outcomes, support child development, and improve parenting skills. It offers services such as home visits, social gatherings for parents and their children, parenting workshops, goal setting assistance, and opportunities for parental networking. Additionally, it provides center-based care for families who are working.

Who can use this
- Individuals who are pregnant and families with children aged 0-3 are eligible, particularly those with incomes at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level. Children in foster care, homeless children, and those from families receiving public assistance are eligible regardless of income. Families with higher incomes may qualify based on specific needs, but those with greater needs are given priority.
