About this resource
The program provides emergency shelter and transitional housing options. Participants can access food, clothing, help with health insurance applications, and a thorough needs assessment facilitated by a case manager. Additionally, it offers information and referrals regarding identification replacement, educational opportunities, and job placement services.
Intake Process: Entry into the program requires a referral from community partners; individuals cannot self-refer. To find a referring agency, call or visit the website. Please note that 211info does not serve as a referring agency.
Travel/Location: The nearest Tri-Met stop is at N Leadbetter & Bybee Lake Court, approximately a quarter mile from the facility. The bus operates Monday through Friday from 5 am to 8 am and 2 pm to 7 pm. The closest MAX station is located at the Expo Center, about 4 miles east of the shelter.
Fees: There are no fees for short-term emergency shelter, while the long-term reentry program costs $250 per month.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants include adults aged 18 and older, as well as families with children under 18 who are experiencing homelessness or transitioning from incarceration, provided they are not under the influence of substances on-site.
