The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program aids low-income individuals in accessing rental homes and apartments at typical market rates. Project-based Section 8 support is offered at various sites throughout Multnomah County, where the subsidy remains with the unit and cannot be transferred by the tenant. Apartment vacancy listings are refreshed roughly every 4-6 weeks on the website, and they also accept reports of program misuse via phone.

Intake Procedure: -For Section 8 Housing Voucher Program applications, please visit the website -For all other services, either visit the website or call for further details -Documents can be securely dropped off at the building's entrance

Travel/Location: TriMet buses and MAX train services are available within 2-4 blocks of the location.

Who can use this

  • -Households with low income -Must be 18 years or older at the time of application or an emancipated minor under State Law -Individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness and given a life expectancy of 12 months or less may qualify for priority status in Section 8 applications.
