About this resource

This program offers discounts on sewer, stormwater, and water bills. Households are required to reapply for assistance every two years. Those with an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on the property that shares a single water meter with the main home are not eligible for the discount. Water and sewer customers can receive the following discounts: - Up to $210.35 for households earning less than 60% of the median family income (MFI) on a 90-day bill. - Up to $336.58 for households earning less than 30% of MFI on a 90-day bill. Discounts for sewer-only customers or those on alternative billing cycles may vary.

Intake Procedure: Call for an appointment when the line is available. Leave a message including the applicant's name, phone number, Social Security number, and utility company name to schedule an appointment. Please articulate clearly and slowly.

Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet bus lines 12 and 72.

Eligibility is limited to single-family residential accounts in the City of Portland, where the account holder must live at the property, and household income cannot exceed 60% of the state median family income (MFI).
