About this resource
This program provides various types of rent assistance, including support for rental deposits and application fees, as well as housing case management services. The assistance is limited and not guaranteed, operating on a first-come, first-served basis, with callbacks only for the first 40 callers. The rent assistance is capped at two months.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for details or to set up an appointment. If the line is busy, leave a message with your first name, last name, and phone number. Calls are returned based on the order they are received, and walk-ins are not permitted.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Families with children under 18 who are currently housed and earn at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and face imminent homelessness are eligible, with priority given to SUN school families identifying as Asian Pacific Islanders or African Immigrants.
Documents you may need
- Photo ID for adults, Social Security cards, and proof of income for the past 30 days for all adults
