About this resource

This program offers urgent financial support for electricity, gas, and heating fuels (oil, wood, propane) when appointments are available.

Intake Procedure: Contact the office to schedule an appointment during open hours. Leave a voicemail with the applicant's name, phone number, Social Security number, and the name of the utility provider to request an appointment. Please articulate clearly and at a moderate pace.

Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet bus lines 12 and 72.

Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.

Who can use this

  • Households with low income

Documents you may need

  • For appointments, must bring all of the following: -Current utility bill in applicant's name -Social Security cards for all household members -Photo ID for all adults in the household -Proof of income for the past 30 days for all adults in the household (TANF, SSI, unemployment, pay stubs, pension, child support, etc.). If any adult in the household has no income, they must come to the appointment with the applicant.
