This initiative conducts monthly structured discussion sessions, provides social engagement opportunities, and delivers educational programming focused on prevalent issues for grandfamilies. It encompasses strategies for aiding relative children of all ages, abilities, and identities, as well as specialized information and referral services that link to community resources.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can call or text to register for updates.
Fees: There are no charges associated with this program.
Who can use this
- - Individuals aged 55 and above who serve as primary caregivers for relative children aged 0-17 - Eligible caregivers include relatives by blood, marriage, or adoption, such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, and great-grandparents. It also includes kith or fictive kin who share a significant emotional bond resembling a family relationship.
