About this resource
This program offers discounts on sewer, stormwater, and water bills, requiring households to reapply for assistance every two years. Households with an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) sharing a single water meter with the primary residence are ineligible for the discount. Eligible water and sewer customers can receive discounts based on income: households earning below 60% of the median family income (MFI) may qualify for up to $210.35 off a 90-day bill, while those earning below 30% of MFI may receive up to $336.58. Discounts for sewer-only customers or those on alternative billing cycles may differ.

Who can use this
- The program is available to single-family residential accounts in the City of Portland, where the account holder must live at the property, and those with an outstanding balance can still apply, provided household income does not exceed 60% of the state median family income (MFI).
