About this resource
This initiative provides individual and group skills training, along with supported employment and education, housing assistance, life skills development, and psychiatric care for transition-age youth facing severe mental health challenges that hinder their community functioning and developmental progress. The STRIDE program links these young individuals to resources that promote their well-being and independence, including peer support, case management, outreach, and engagement services.

Travel/Location: Accessible via TriMet bus lines 4, 17, and 75
Fees: Costs vary by program, but most LifeWorks Northwest offerings accept OHP/Medicaid and Medicare, with some programs available for uninsured individuals or providing free or reduced-cost services.
Who can use this
- Services for transitional age youth aged 16-24 with severe mental illnesses; STRIDE program serves ages 14-25 with mental health issues.
