Mainspring Portland
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides a shopping-style pantry for clothing and personal hygiene products, overnight food bags, and a mobile food pantry service. Participants can obtain food bags weekly, utilize mobile food pantries as needed, and receive clothing and hygiene items biweekly. Additionally, five open-air farmers market mobile food pantries are organized monthly at different locations in Portland. Caseworkers are welcome to shop on behalf of their clients, including those who are homebound.
Intake Process: Individuals can walk in or call for further details. The website lists the schedule for mobile food pantry locations and times. Caseworkers must complete an intake form on the website before accessing the clothing closet for their clients. Participants are requested to bring their own shopping bags.
Cost: No fees are required.
