About this resource

This service provides in-home assistance, which encompasses housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, transportation, and meal preparation and delivery. It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that offer support for part of the day without residential care. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or periodic assessments, service planning, medication monitoring, provider training, and education. Additionally, case management and options counseling are provided to help individuals make informed decisions regarding services tailored to their strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours per individual is determined by assessed needs and available funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours monthly. Importantly, benefits are not subject to estate recovery.
